2025-2026 Registration Is Open!
We're proud to have a strong relationship with the Williamsburg Jr. and High School coaching staff. We work directly with them to ensure our youth program aligns with their vision for success, building a cohesive and effective path for our wrestlers from their first steps on the mat all the way to advanced competition.
Starting in 2024, our new program is designed to provide age-appropriate and skill-specific training for every athlete through three progressive sessions:
Lil' Cats (Pre-K - K): A Playful Introduction. This is the perfect first step for our youngest wrestlers. We focus on building essential motor skills and body awareness through fun, wrestling-inspired games and activities. They'll practice basic tumbling and learn simple moves while building confidence and a positive relationship with the sport.
Big Cats (Grades 1-3): Building a Strong Foundation. This program bridges the gap from introductory play to more serious training. We introduce a wider range of wrestling moves and begin to incorporate live drilling and structured practice. Wrestlers will solidify their fundamentals and learn how to apply them effectively.
Elite Cats (Grades 4-6): For the Aspiring Champion. This is our highest-level session, designed for older, more experienced wrestlers. We move at a faster pace and dedicate more time to advanced techniques, situational drilling, and live wrestling. The focus is on preparing athletes for competitive success by building physical endurance, mental toughness, and a comprehensive understanding of wrestling strategy.
It's important to us that every wrestler feels comfortable and confident. Please know that participation in tournaments is always 100% optional. We believe that every wrestler's journey is unique, and we will never pressure a child to compete if they are not ready or do not wish to. Our primary focus is on skill development and fostering a love for the sport, with competition as an exciting—but always voluntary—extension of their training.
