Our youth wrestling program follows the same wrestling curriculum as our middle and high school. This offers numerous advantages, including:

Wrestling is an intense sport that can only be truly learned on the mat, through hard work and perseverance. Our primary focus is to help both female and male wrestlers develop:
Comfort in Discomfort: Teaching them to thrive even when situations are challenging.
Mental Toughness: Building resilience and determination.
Respect: Fostering a sense of honor and regard for others.
Humility: Encouraging modesty and the ability to learn from every experience.
We have a strict policy: All egos must be left at the door—no exceptions! Any wrestler displaying a bad attitude or disrespect towards another wrestler, coach, or visitor will result in immediate action, including a call to their legal guardian. Respect and sportsmanship are non-negotiable in our program.
Our Wrestling Classes
Beginning in the 2024 season, we’re thrilled to introduce three specialized classes, each tailored to support and develop our wrestlers at various stages of their journey.
Lil’ Cats: This class is ideal for young wrestlers (4-8 years old) or those with 0-2 years of experience. Our primary goal is to introduce them to the sport in a fun and supportive environment, all while helping them build confidence and develop essential skills on the mat.
Elite Cats: This class is designed for our more experienced youth wrestlers or for newcomers who are eager for a challenge. With a faster pace and higher intensity than the Lil’ Cats class, athletes in this group need to maintain focus and adapt to a quick-learning environment. If you believe your child is ready for this class, please speak with a coach before coming.
Competition Class: This class is designed to provide extra mat time and help prepare our youth wrestlers for upcoming tournaments. During this class, Lil’ Cats and Elite Cats will train together, with the Elite Cats challenging and supporting the Lil’ Cats at their individual skill levels and pace. This collaborative approach fosters growth and development for all participants.
